Salesforce Named a Leader in SaaS Marketplaces by Independent Research Firm

Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, today announced Salesforce was named a leader by Forrester Research in its evaluation of Salesforce AppExchange as part of the first ever Forrester New Wave™: SaaS Marketplaces report, Q4 2018.

Salesforce’s enterprise marketplace AppExchange received a score of “differentiated,” the highest score possible in eight of the 10 criteria, including buyer interface, availability of applications, and intelligence and automation. In the report, Forrester says that Salesforce “still leads the marketplace world,” in addition to describing Salesforce as “a powerful choice in terms of scale, breadth, and innovation.”

Eighty-nine percent of Fortune 100 companies use AppExchange apps. There are more than 5,000 AppExchange solutions available today with more than 6 million installs and 80,000 peer reviews.
