NetU has been awarded, following an open tender procedure, the implementation of an Integrated Information System for the Department of Town Planning and Housing of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Cyprus.
The overall objective of the project is the development and implementation of a modern integrated information systemthat will cover the IT needs and demands of all the Sectors of the Department of Town Planning and Housing, as well as the management of building permits from the District Administration Offices.
The system is expected to be a powerful tool for the upgrading of the services offered by the Department, with purpose that of improvement in the bureaucratic procedures as well as of the response time to citizens’ requests, and therefore the better and more effective public service.
The contract was signed in October 2014 and has a three year duration. The contract value is €5.089.499 excluding VAT.
