We are proud to announce that the Department of Lands and Surveys has been awarded by the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) with the Innovation Award for the DLS Portal, a project implemented by NetU.
The award has been delivered by the President of the Republic of Cyprus H.E. Mr. Nicos Anastassiades on the 26th of November 2018 at the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (THOC).
The DLS Portal consists a modern internet platform, which provides comprehensive and easy access to geographical data through digital services, enabling the direct and horizontal access of all government organizations to these services. The portal also provides self-service functionality allowing the public as well as the municipalities to interact electronically with the Department of Lands and Surveys for carrying out their transactions. The DLS Portal serves as the central reference point and as the future central platform for all spatial and other data included in the INSPIRE Directive, enhancing the interoperability between the various government and semi-government organizations.
