One of EXCELSIOR H2020 Widespread Teaming Phase 2 project goals is to create a new, autonomous and sustainable center of Excellence, the ‘Center of Excellence ERATOSTHENIS’ (ECoE) of the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK).
The ‘ERATOSTHENIS’ Center of Excellence was officially established on February 27, 2020, as a result of the upgrade of the existing Remote Sensing and Geoenvironment laboratory, which operated at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geoinformatics of the Cyprus University of Technology since 2007. Innovation hub for Earth Observation, Space Technology and Geoinformatics is now becoming the Reference Center in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East and North Africa.
On Wednesday, 19/1/2021 the Center organized a successful online event, on the topic: ‘The Eratosthenes Center of Excellence and the EXCELSIOR project meet the industry and the research and innovation organizations of Cyprus’.
